About McLean Hand Therapy
McLean Hand Therapy is a private practice focused exclusively on the evaluation and treatment of hand and upper-extremity conditions. Care is provided on an individual basis by an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist.
The practice was established to offer focused, consistent care within a streamlined setting, allowing treatment to remain attentive, adaptable, and centered on each patient’s needs.
Practice Philosophy
Care at McLean Hand Therapy is intentionally structured to prioritize quality, attention, and clinical reasoning while following appropriate evidence-based protocols. Each visit is one-on-one, allowing time for careful evaluation, hands-on treatment, and thoughtful progression of care based on clinical needs and individual response.
Treatment sessions are designed to be engaging and personalized. Time is spent getting to know each patient and tailoring sessions so therapy remains active, motivating, and responsive to how each person learns and progresses. This approach supports efficiency in rehabilitation while helping patients stay invested in the process.
McLean Hand Therapy was established as a focused alternative to high-volume therapy settings—where care is often divided or delegated. By maintaining direct clinician involvement and continuity throughout treatment, the practice supports more attentive care and clearer decision-making from start to finish.
